Summary

Yield App is looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to work closely with our finance and investment management teams and continue to build on the suite of reports and analytics that drive our business.

The role

Work closely with the global Finance, Investment and DeFi Portfolio Management teams to ensure their requirements are fully understood and ongoing needs are met.

Automate financial and investment management processes and develop accurate data solutions to be as near real-time as possible.

Continuously evaluate new tools and technologies to deliver ongoing improvements across finance and investment management data analytics operations.

Clearly communicate research findings and trends; build and present reports as well as provide recommendations for action based on findings.

Develop dashboards and visualizations to track key data and indicators.

Meticulously document your developments and findings to bring the IT landscape to the next level.

Skills & Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in a similar role with a minimum of bachelor’s degree level qualifications (preferably master’s degree) in Computer Science, MIS, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or similar.

Strong data management skills including Excel, SQL skills in R, SAS or other statistical packages preferred, web3.js, ethers.js are a big plus.

Advanced knowledge of data visualization and BI tools (MixPanel, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc).

Programming experience (Python) preferred but not essential.

Proficient working with APIs and data querying languages for data modelling and analysis.

Exceptional analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Understanding of Big data and related technologies is a plus.

Experience in FinTech, Financial Services, Banking, Investment Management is preferred as is knowledge of blockchain / crypto / digital assets.

Excellent relationship building and communication skills (written & verbal) with people at all levels of the organization and across multiple time-zones.

An impeccable eye for detail, ensuring the integrity of data used for analysis.

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while working independently.

Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to delivering high-quality.

Whilst not essential, strong preference will be given to those that are either currently based in Bangkok, Thailand or those that are willing to relocate in the near term; relocation assistance will be provided.
