Summary

This newly created role will report directly to the CFO and executive management team. The successful candidate will provide leadership in the areas of Financial Forecasting & Strategic Planning, Accounting, Taxation, Auditing, Treasury, and Financial Governance & Reporting. The Head of Finance will lead the implementation of a financial framework, conduct on-going reviews of the Company’s payments, accounting, and finance procedures, set up respective local systems and controls and ensure proper internal and external regulatory reporting.

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 7 years relevant experience in the Financial Services sector with proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a regulated financial services institution;

2-3 years experience working in cryptocurrencies and DLT with an inherent knowledge of associated regulatory, compliance and statutory reporting (IFRS) requirements for the treatment of digital assets;

Experience in managing group accounting, consolidated accounting, audits and reporting;

Ability to design budget and risk management models with in-depth knowledge of data analysis, forecasting and financial modeling;

High degree of integrity, initiative, perseverance, coupled with exceptional organizational, analytical and leadership skills;

Demonstrated ability to deal with complex organizational structures and regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions;

Proven track record of success in helping to grow and scale finance teams and operations in a startup environment;

Knowledge of capital markets and derivatives investing would be a distinct advantage;

Demonstrated understanding of global financial regulatory frameworks;

Willing and able to relocate to Bangkok, Thailand.
